The Begining of a Legacy

Dear Diary,

I moved into a new town today… they call it Sunset Valley. Sound’s nice, doesn’t it? Notice, I don’t say I moved into a new house… Well, the lot is really pretty. And my blankets are nice!

My new house! Err... bed, anyway.

Alright, so I realize it’s nothing fancy, but I know it’ll be nice… someday. Perhaps not in my lifetime, but I bought the lot to make sure it’s big enough for a growing family. I’m so family oriented, just a little homebody. I’ll let you in on a little secret… I’ve decided I want to raise five children! I know it’s a lot, but I can just see myself raising a big family. Cooking and cleaning- I’m a natural at both of those. I’m all for women in the work force, believe me, but it’s really not what I want for myself. Perhaps one of my daughters will be a career woman? CEO of a large company, or a Chef if she takes after our side of the family. Oh, I can just see it now!

Of course, until the day comes when I meet the man of my dreams(oh, I am SUCH a hopeless romantic, dreaming of princes and knights… or at least a man who remembers to leave the seat down in the bathroom), I need to earn money somehow. Since I’m pretty good in the kitchen, I decided to go with the Culinary line of work.  Alright, not so excited about that, but it pays the bills.

With my first paycheck, I decided to begin my garden. I don’t exactly have a green thumb, but plants don’t tend to wilt when I walk past, either. So hopefully this will work out well? Maybe my knight will be armed with a gardening glove…

Fresh veggies! Yummy!

Fresh veggies! Yummy!

I discovered that our local gym is very pro health- in all aspects! Not only do the owners make sure Sunset Valley can be buff… but they make sure we stay fed! I was able to get a bite to eat for free there… and I also enjoyed a nice, private shower and a private toilet… I mean, it WAS a public restroom, and I definitly got blasted with cold water and the water pressure left something to be desired…

Ahem. I’m clean and I’m thankful. My coworkers probably are, too! Actually, I met my new boss, Molly French while I was there. She seemed very nice, even though I don’t know much about her yet… hopefully I made a good impression. Perhaps my bikini wasn’t the best attire to meet her in, but what can you do? I’d just taken a dip!

OK, note to self: Dont meet new boss while youre in your bathing suit... but my body is rockin, so whatever!

Well, I’ve yet to seem my valiant Prince, but I’ll keep my eyes peeled. Sunset Valley, Juliet is single and ready to mingle!

Sunset Valley?

Umm… Sunset Valley?

Anyone?

Oh, bother…
